INTEGRATIVE COUNSELLOR - Charlotte Harrison
Charlotte is an Integrative Counsellor that believes that all individual's deserve a voice, a safe space and to be heard. As an integrative counsellor she has studied a broad range of theories ranging from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person-centred, Existentialism, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analaysis and Psychoanalysis. Charlotte uses theories based on what is relevant and present in the room with each client to fit their best interests. She has experience with clients who have depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, elements of OCD/PTSD, religious issues, bereavement, loss, physical illness, anger and others. Charlotte is experienced working with a broad age spectrum and occasionally with indidivuals who are ex forces.
Through extended training Charlotte has improved her knowledge around post-natal depression, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bi-polar depression, dementia, stress, phobias and eating disorders. Furthermore, she has continued to develop knowledge in children and young people's mental health, which is an area she intends to develop further.
Charlotte is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychothreapy.
